FREMONT STEWART 

FREMONT STEWART
     1926 – 2015

Fremont was born in Detroit on September 17, 1921. After graduating from the 8th grade at Cerveny School in Detroit Fremont entered the Trade School. 
He graduated, June 1939, “T” Section. Hired by the Ford Motor Company in 1940, he retired in 1980 as Die Room Supervisor. 
He fought in WWII with the 20th Armored Division in the ETO.

DANIEL S. RUCKER  

DANIEL S. RUCKER
     1925 - 2014

Dan passed away November 1, 2014. He graduated from the Trade School January 20, 1943. He was one of the few African-Americns to ever attend the trade school.
Dan served during WWII in the US Marine Corp. He played semi-pro baseball and was an avid bridge player.
In June 2012 he traveled to Washington D.C. to take part in the award cerremony honoring the Montford Point Marines. There along with hundreds of others, he received the Congressional Gold Medal at the Capitol. The first black Marines were recruited in 1942 following an executive order of President Roosevelt. They became known as the Montford Point Marines.

He joined the Alumni Association, November 2004.

Graduated June 23, 1943, “T” Section.
FABRIS DANTE LEO February 11, 2015 Age: 89 Of Livonia Beloved husband of the late Nancy Catherine. Dearest father of Dennis (Chris), James (Gail), David (Julie), MaryAnn Larry) Ciofu, Tony (Kim) and the late Jeffry (Joanne). Loving grandfather of Darren, Joel, Jamie, Jeffrey (Lindsey), Danielle, Racheal (Austin), Dante (Sarah), Heather (Tom), avid (Lisa), Steven and Angela. Dear great-grandfather of Eva, Mya, Ryleigh, Hanna, Emma and Ben. Memorial visitation Saturday, 9 a.m. St. Colette Catholic Church, 17600 Newburgh (N. of 6 Mile) until time of Memorial Mass at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Boys Town or to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society would be greatly appreciated. The family has entrusted care and services to the L. J. Griffin Funeral Home (734)522-6200.

    JOHN CORNEA
     1921 - 2014

John, aged 93 of Dearborn. Beloved husband of the late Wanda. Loving father of John (Shawn), Joel (Karla), and Jennifer Cornea. Dear brother of the late Chuck (Kay) Cornea.

Also survived by seven Grandchildren.

John joined the Alumni Association in 1982. A loyal member for thirty two years.

    1930 - 2015

Elmer aged 84 passed away January 15, 2015. Beloved husband of Lorraine, father of 5 grandfather of 10. 
He was a veteran of the Armed Services 
Elmer was a graduate of the Trade School, Class of 1947.

Edward Rothermal    

DWARD H. ROTHERMAL
    1930 - 2015

Ed aged 84 of Wyandotte. Loving husband of the late Sophia. Dear father of Cheryl (Patrick) Dolan, Susanne Meyers, Lou Ann (Robert) Scott and Brian Rothermal. Proud grandfather of 7 and great grandfather of 8. 
Ed served on the Wyandotte Police Department for 37 year rising to be the Chief of Police. 
He was a graduate of the Henry Ford Trade School, Class of 1947. Also a member of the HFTS Alumni Association. He joined the Association in 2000. Ed also was a member of the Board of Directors. Sophia and Ed attended many and various events of the Association.

peter miutz    

      PETER MIUTZ
       1929 - 2014

On October 6, 2014 -- Peter H. Miutz of Dearborn, Michigan passed away at the Henry Ford Retirement Village. 
Pete was 94 years young at the time of his passing, a veteran of the Second World War serving in the Pacific on the Island of New Guinea. A retired Ford Motor Tool and Die Maker and Maintenance Supervisor, Pete retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years and was an active alumnus of the Henry Ford Trade School, Class of 1938. A loyal 39 year member joining in 1975. 
Married for over 25 years to his wife Maryanna who passed away in 1986. Pete loved to golf, dance, travel and spend time with his three grandchildren – Lauren, Jonathan and Jeffrey of Richmond, Virginia. 
Longtime resident of Livonia before moving to the Henry Ford Retirement Village where he resided for over 17 years, Pete was a loving and caring father who will be missed by his daughter Maryann, son John and daughter in-law Kath.
